Not at this moment in time.....though I don't like to face certain things.....in school when I was 12 I was so painfully shy I couldn't get through roll call w/ out going into tears and red with embarrassment~I would try t sip the teacher a note saying my allergies made it very hard to concentrate,,,truth was, I was petrified ....yes then I was shy, but no longer and not for a very long time now...that quality had its own charm and growth.....I wouldn't have it any other way!!!! ,

Yes I am a bit shy when meeting somebody for the first time. But once I get to know them better, i'm not shy at all. I feel more comfortable around that person!

I can be quite shy - but I can also be quite lively when I get going. I know I am usually quite quiet when I am with a group of people - I prefer one to one conversations - but maybe that is different from being shy.

Most definitely.
Hey I wonder if only self-admitting shy people would answer to this post. So that it seems there are more shy people but there's not.

I used to be. I got over it out of necessity. Being shy is worse than having bad breath. It's usually seen as being pathetic to a boss or lover.

No. I have standards. I do not associate with some of the staff around me for various reasons, which upsets them, but we have nothing in common and I dislike them but leave them alone. They could be adult about it and not make an issue out of it, but apparently, some people can't take rejection and indifference. If you're an adult and you ask someone out on a date who is clearly not interested, never has been and may be interested in someone else, you accept it and move on. If someone doesn't want to know you, accept it and deal with it.
