I wear panties because I think that a thong is basically just a giant wedgie - besides no one can see what im wearing n e way so I mide as well be comfy!

This is neither normal, nor is it appropriate. A 16 year old has no business even OWNING a thong, much less parading around the house wearing it. Tell your daughter to cover up and knock off the behavior, or you will be taking her to the doctor so she can work through whatever is behind this apparent need she has to expose herself in such a manner in front of you. Do you have other children who are younger than she is? If so, I'd also remind her that she's setting a terrible example for them, and that her behavior is very annoying to you. Also, your wife is either blind to your daughter's behavior, or she is misinformed about the fact that it's normal, which it is not. It's NOT healthy for a 16 year old girl to parade around half naked in front of ANY man, no matter if he's related or not- it's just too much of a temptation for most men. I am amazed that you and your wife have put up with your daughter's behavior this long- if that had been me, my mom would have stopped it years earlier. Girls are already sexualized too much as it is these days- the media is full of sexual images. Your daughter may have seen some of this stuff, awful though it is, and may be trying to imitate it. No, I'd tell your daughter to cut it out, and do it quickly. If she won't obey, then follow through and take her to see the doctor so she can work through whatever is bothering her. Good luck.

Well I'm highly against VPL (Visible Panty Lines). i think it looks so unattrctive if you can see it because it makes it look like you have four butts or you just have this huge extra line going across you butt cheek. Also panties give you wedgies anyway so I might as well wear a wedgie that I don't have to pick out. I do love boy shorts but only wear them with jeans or in the house so you won't see any of the lines.

I usually wear panties, except when I am dressed up in thin fabric and I don't want panty lines showing through. Thongs are good for those occasions.

I feel that something can say alot about someone by what underwear they do wear. I also feel that certain kinds of underwear should be worn at certain kinds of times. I myself think it would be very uncomfortable to wear a thong on a regular basis. I think thongs are only meant for more of a intimate moment. I mean they are best worn when going out on a date rather then something you would wear just doing your homework or just doing daily activities. I don't think it is a matter of that people can see what you are wearing but that there may come a time where they do and you want to have some nice looking articles on. Either way I think a thong and certain kinds of underwear people wear are based on preferences. Wear what makes you comfortable.

Yea I totally agree. I like panties, they're comfy lol really. Thongs are cute but not for me, not now anyway. When I get married I'll get a couple (wink wink) lol. But overall panties.
