wash out with soapy water , allow to dry with power off and door open. Check the door seals for any mold. Mix some baking soda and water and pour in fridge and freezer part if there is a condensate drain.
Close door and turn power on , place sone vinegar in a pan , and some baking soda in a pan and let the fridge run for a few days . Change the baking soda daily.
If that doesnt work I have no ideas.
When an old fridge was off for weeks (bad tenant) we scrapped it and bought a used one to replace it .

If you can, turn off the fridge and leave the door open for several days. During that time, take out all the shelves, drawers, and anything else that is removable and clean thoroughly. Follow that with a thorough cleaning of the inside paying particular attention to any crack or crevices where smelly stuff can hide. After all this, be sure to put several open containers of baking soda inside.

Scrub it clean again with Comet Kitchen Cleaner w/Bleach. This time don't turn the off fridge when you clean inside. Leave the fridge on and use a hot damp rag to wash out the Comet. Never have the fridge turned off when cleaning the fridge. Combat that odor head on!

Try spraying the whole interior of the fridge & freezer with vanilla essence. When the fridge is restocked place vanilla essence at the back of the fridge in an open container. Hope I have been helpful to you.

If you can remove the shelves and wash in the bathtub or outside with bleach/water.... Wash any surface you can get too as well.... Empty the ice maker and clean as well... Put baking soda in loose plastic containers with holes in the lids and change often weekly perhaps.... Good luck

If smell keeps coming back then you have not killed all the bacteria. I would suggest you spray everything inside and out with Clorax bleach then try it again with the soda.
