Ignorance. The true original sin. Many people have no desire to learn or give love. They still want to receive it though. How is that possible without knowing what it is. Yes, many people leave without ever having known what they have missed.

We don't necessarily come into the world ignorant of love; a new born baby feels love at once, not intellectually, but in his/her senses. Yet, others are born totally & absolutely incapable of love. I promise I won't wax technical, but some people are BORN psychopaths. Or, sociopaths--who have no conscience & thus no comprehension of love. So, let's say, some of us come in with love, & some don't. The ones who don't, leave the same way.

Completely, until I met my wife I thought I knew what love was all about, the only thing we realize now is man we were stupid. I didn't have a clue until now, If I continued the way I was I would have went out not knowing true love.......

Sadly, yes. Poor sods. If they know anything of it at all, it's usually as something to get, rather than give. It's a pity so many of them do so much damage either by intention or default, while they're here. But they are the greatest losers, I think.

depends on how we come into this world - a baby cannot care for adults - that does not mean a baby cannot love or has no love.
