You are still suffering so much aren't you pet. Will it help you come to terms with what has happened? Will you feel better for giving him a gift- and if you are on incapacity benefit how can you afford it? I divorced my husband four years ago and i always send him a card for his birthday and i always buy him a little gift at xmas to thank him for looking after the kids- for being a good father. But if you feel you want to then do it. It won't guarantee that he will come back though sweetheart. I really feel for you.

Hey, he only left 6 weeks ago. Why do you think most states still require 6 months to divorced? Because things might change, that's why.
I wouldn't buy anything expensive, but a small gift and nice card would be a sign of respect, and not rank submission.
Lean on your support system honey. You are going to need it.

No...... Thats one more thing he lost.Be strong and wait to see where things go .6 weeks is long to be apart from your husband. Is he sending mixed messages? Cause I dont know about your man but mine needs his fix at least 2 times a week...
MIN..Save the cash for yourself , If it was your birthday would he get you a gift???

YEa buy aan envelope so yuo can have a place to put the divorce papers. You shouldn't even think about a guy who leaves you and probably doesn't even care if your alive or not. WOW hey want to go out. I can use you for a while too.

No, you should not buy him a present. However, you might, out of respect, send him a birthday card that is NOT a romantic one.
You need to get on with your life, go through the stages of losing him, and then start your healing process by getting involved in something of interest to you.

A gift would not be appropriate. The most you should do is send him a card or an e-mail wishing him a happy birthday.

It depends why he left you. If you were in the wrong you can. If you have children yes, have them pick it out. If he left you because he's with someone else, NO, a HAPPY BIRTHDAY call will do.

I wouldn't, but if you still love him and want to get him back, then it might be the foot in the door you need, without knowing why he left you it's difficult to say how he would react to it.
