We just bought a house and i can not seem to get the smell of cat urine out of my kitchen. There is no carpet, just linoleum floors. I have sprayed and mopped and it does not seem to go away for long. Any suggestions?

Use a solution of vinegar and water to mop the floors and give it a good rinse with hot water... That might take the smell away.. Or atleast your kitchen will smell like salad and not kitty....Blah !!

A product called simple solution is marvelous. It doesn't mask the smell, it digests the bacteria that cause the smell. Avoid any remedies containing ammonia! These smell like another cat's urine and a cat would mask that smell by urinating there. I know you have no cat. I wanted to pop that here in case someone else has similar problem.
The urine may have slid down the edge of lino and onto floor beneath. Lift lino and scrub floor and base of lino with "Simple solution."

You can try urine be gone... I've seen it at Walgreen's and Walmart.. It seemed to work on my carpet but cat urine is a hard thing to remove... It should work but if not you may have to rip it out and replace it.. But try it.. I swear by the product..

i have a kitten aswell and mine does not smell but the only reason why it does not smell is because i spray air freshener all around the room.
