After being asked if A-Rod was better then him he cockily said ''Absolutley Not!''

I mean look at this stat :

Bonds was 37 when he hit 500 homeruns.

Rodriguez is 32 and has 499 homeruns.

Bonds flexes his ego yet again. It was probably a female reporter who asked the question otherwise BB would not have been so nice.

A-Rod puts up great power numbers and plays a tougher position. Plus BB is jealous of that A-Rod has other star players willing to be on the same team with him.

You cannot take anything Barry Bonds says seriously. First of all, he is stupid- on top of probably being a cheater and definitely full of himself. Second, he may have a good point in that we will have to wait and see how A-Rod does the next few years. Maybe the damage Bonds did after he was 35 was helped by steorids, but he did find a way to get to 754 homeruns.

I don't think what Bonds said is true at all. I think this because A-rods stats all time are better than Barry bonds and also Barry was on steroids and a-rod was not on steroids ever. The reason Bonds has so many home runs is because he's been playing since 1986 and A-rod since 1994. The only reason Bonds has more of everything is because of the steroids and because they walk him too much.

Rodruguez is not only better than Bonds when bonds was 37 but hes more of a team player. look at the giants record and then look at the yankees. if everything goes all right with a-rod he will most likely break the record after Ol barry is gone.

Okay, you know Bonds and A-Rod are good friends right? They said at the All Star Game that they love to see each other hit, and they were carrying on a convo. You have to believe in yourself in sports anyway, or you're not going to be good at all.

I'm definitely not a Bonds fan but it may have been taken out of context or he may have said it jokingly. If he's being serious, he's being ridiculous. But that would be Bonds. I can't wait until he has to go on the road to break the record. Oh the boos.

I think the only thing time I would be surprised or shocked at something Bonds said would be if he were to either tell the truth, or say something that was even remotely humble. Do I believe he said it - definitely. Do I believe it's the truth? Definitely not.

That is why nobody likes him outside of San Fran and the Giant fans..he has NO respect for the game..and all of Bonds fans wonder why everybody BOOS him ... he should of watched the induction today of 2 world class ball player Gwynn & Ripken... I would take any player on the Yankee team before i would even consider taking bonds....as far as i am concerned he can sit and wait with rose before he even is considered for the HOF
