No. The theories of Democritus of Abdera are interesting, but modern science has revealed that there is nothing specific about human physiology that mirrors the structure of the universe, nor do we have a reason to suspect that there would be. Correlative cosmologies are attractive to us because our minds automatically find pattern correspondences even where none exist. This tells us more about our own minds than it does about our relationship to the universe.

This is an interesting idea, prevelant in the 16th century, not to say it has no relevence today.
You find those ideas in Shakespeare, and that's timeless, as far as the human condition goes.
A book I recommend is the Elizabethan world picture by EM Tillyard, for extending that idea.(if it's still in print)

No. God made Earth and the Heavens and the Universe, and then he made man "in our image", meaning God and the Angels. We are human--we have souls!!!
