I think it actually might be the Parson's rather then the Meller's. Male Parson's get over 2 feet.
I think Meller's is the largest African species but Parson's is the largest overall. The Oustalet's is also sometimes cited as the largest of all.

Mellers Chameleon. They can reach up to 2 ft in length. A majority of the ones for sale in the pet trade are imported and are full of parasites, causing them to fail to thrive in captivity. If you decide to get one, make sure you have a vet ready to do a fecal exam to check for parasites.
