I wouldn't want the world to fall in love with my image, I lead a quiet life and the fame and fortune would ruin me. No but really, i wouldn't want to scare anyone.

I had my real picture up here and I got emails and im's from every whacko in the world. I could not deal with it anymore and just changed it. There is some really nice people here but there are a few that the lights are on but nobody is home. LOL

I don't have a picture online and this is the closest I could come to the real thing. Except I don't have red hair and I do have wrinkles and I don't stand around grinning all the time and I'm not that thin and I don't wear blue eyeglasses and I would never wear a shirt like that and I don't have blossoming trees in my yard.
But other than that, my avatar looks just like me.

First and foremost, I enjoy the element of anonymity
Second, I don't have a recent photograph
Third, I wouldn't know how to go about creating a photo avatar
Fourth, I'm kinda fond of this avatar - it's comical

because i enjoy making an avatar that looks like me. more fun than simply uploading a picture.

a few reasons
1) cos i wouldn't have a clue where to start to do it
2) The other half 'doesn't think its a good idea' !
3) I would show my 360 pals and a few of my contacts just to satisfy curiosity cos i curious of what they look like too, but to have it shown to the puiblic i feel would be a little like advertising yourself!!

I did put a picture of myself up on another site and I found I only got lewd comments from blokes (I'm always up for a laugh so it's ok to a point) but I felt it distracted from me as a person. (It was only of my face and top half in an old woolly jumper so it was hardly flattering)! but people stopped relating to me in the same way. Felt like I was on a dating site instead.

People do that because they are unattractive or heavy or liars. Funny that 70% of Americans are obese but every Avatar is skinny and cute..lol

i think the fraggle is more interesting to look at that a pic of me..... lol - i find it really weird to see pics of me on the screen all the time... there is a picture of me on my 360 page if anyone is that bothered about seeing the face behind the fraggle.

If I was single I might, but I'm not so I opt for privacy. Besides, I look pretty close to my avatar anyway.
