I dont have access to a trampoline, I cant walk by myself, even with my dog and a cell phone, I dont have any friends, and my sister and parents wont walk with me....I was thinking about doing a Walk away the pounds video, but I would have to do it in the living room in front of anyone in my family who wants to see my sweating!
P.S. Dont worry, I wont starve myself

It's just really hard trying to lose weight in my house. My Parents and Sister think excercise it too hard of work, so they just DONT! I actually like to excercise, but dont get to because they dont like to. My Mom just started LA weight Loss, she is mad because she isnt losing weight. I tell her it is because she needs to excercise but she refuses. Does anyone have ANY excercise Ideas i can do by myself....I mentioned i cant walk by myself outside.

NO!!! YOU ARE NOT FAT! People who ask ?'s like this are stupid in my opinion. I am 13 and i will be 14 in Jan. I am 5'2 and i weigh 179 lbs. I used to weigh 194. Now, after hearing that do you think you are fat? And it doesn't matter how old you are when it comes to weight. It usually goes by height and body builds. My normal weight for 5'2 would be around 123lbs, and you weigh 137 and think you're fat??? If you are 5'5 5'6 you are pretty tall for your age. If you think you are fat and need to loose 20 lbs you may be anorexic. I'm not trying to be mean but it's true. You may want to look at a weight book or a diet book and read the weight scales in them. I have mine with me in my room. I'll tell you what it says you should weigh. It says a girl at 5'6 should weigh between 136 - 149 lbs. And i AM NOT making this up. So, NO! You are not fat and you do NOT need to loose 20 lbs.

You are not at a bad weight for your height. You are reasonably tall for your age. Find out what your weight vs. your height ratio is before you do anything. You may also want to ask your doctor. Twenty pounds may be too much.
Cut out some carbs - anything with white flour, sugar, etc. Include fruits and veggies in your meals. Take a walk after dinner - a good two miles. Not some liesurly stroll - a good swift walk, straight posture and steady rhythm.
Again, your weight is not so bad. If you do lose weight, don't feel bad if it is only about 10 pounds. You are, after all, likely taller than most of the other girls you know.
Big rule - lose weight for yourself so you can feel and be healthy. Don't worry about what others say or about attracting boys. Weight loss for those reasons are not healthy reasons. We take care of ourselves in order to be healthy, so we can be effective for ourselves and our responsibilities.
Check with yourself too. Why do you feel overweight? How do you see yourself? Maybe you can see yourself as being just the way God made you - tall. With height comes added weight. You still have a few growing years left - you may add an inch or two. There is a young lady visiting my house right now - she is taller than me and my boys. But she is accepted and loved and she accepts and loves herself, just the way she is - she's a great kid. I would bet you are a great kid, too.

well my dr. told me that if I wanted to lose weight that I needed first of all to exercise 3 to 5 days a week for about 45 min. to an hour. Also, you take your weight goal ( how much you want to weigh) and times that by 11 and thats how many calories you should have in a day. Watch what you eat and how much you eat. If you do exercise you will be really hungry after you eat so I would schedule your exercising for right before one of your meals, that's what I did. Once you get down to your goal then you can consume more calories but not a whole lot more. But honestly for your height I think your weight is fine, and you will be growing taller so your weight will proportion itself out. I got online and checked out all the fast food places I eat at and found out how many calories and fat grams are in the foods i eat and when I saw how much there is I tried my best to not eat out so much and when I did I cut my portions down to almost half of what I was eating. My dr. also suggested to not take in any calories from what I drank, that means no sodas!!! Drink lots of water!!!! I think that if you just watch what you eat, drink lots of water and exercise you will be fine. You are only 13 and you still have more growing to do, you are already pretty tall and the taller you get the better. I wouldn't worry about it too much. But whatever you do, Good Luck!

You're fine. Your body is still forming. You've probably got weight in areas you don't want, and areas you want weight you don't have! (too much tummy, not enough chest?) Don't do anything different! Your body's weight will shift into the right places, that is if you have the weight to shift. Loosing weight now can effect your body for LIFE at this age. You are still forming into an adult. I am not even lying. But don't go whole hog and think eating Big Macs and chocolate bars will not effect you.
Wait 2 more years before you start thinking about loosing wieght. So far, you sound healthy and on target medically speaking.

You're not fat at all and probably don't need to lose weight but if you feel a little flabby and want to tone up, just watch what you eat and start lifting weights (after you feel better from falling down the steps). Drink more water! Good luck!

It's just you. I've been 5'1" since I was 16, and 130-140 lbs. I think for your height, that's not too much. Remember you're still growing, and your proportions will change. Take it easy on exercise until you heal up, then do moderate exercise 30 minutes a day, and don't forget to stretch. Good luck.

wow. i'm 5'6, 110 pounds, and i'm trying to gain 20 pounds.
are you eating healthy?
as long as you are eating according to the food pyramid, you're pretty much healthy.
however, exercise is also a key to being healthy. maybe you could like walk around the house more, jog in place [in your room, so your parents don't see you sweat], do pushups, crunches, etc.

maybe all that wieght is muscle wheight? but if you think you need to loose 20 lbs., it mite not be. umm. start eating healthier. im a dietitian and i know that there are a lot of really yummy, healthy foods to eat. go for a run every other day. probably when you wke up in the morning, but still netime of the day is a good time.
if you are one who constantly eats, try backing off a little. when oyu feel like snacking on something, find something healthy, or go do something else to keep your mind off of it.
good luck-
