No it is not! Don't do something you don't wannna do. I did and so far it has left me with nothing but bad news. See my story is I had a love affair with this guy and I got pregnant and he proposed and we were unhappily married for 2 years. Or atleast I was unhappily married. I was dating someone and this guy turned out to be the complete opposite of who I was dating and I felt it was time for a change. So i went for it and now it has ended up being the worst divorce I could have ever imagined. I am into almost a year of trying to get this divorce thing over with and so far it hasnt happened yet. He won't pay child support, he is a lazy bum and won't work, truly this is the reason I left him, he couldn't hold down a job. He wasn't taking care of my daughter and I so I felt it was time to get out and start on my own. I am doing it! So for your answer, you really need to think about this before you jump into it. If this is what you want, then go for it. But if this is not what you want then don't do it. I am not saying that your marriage might end up being a bunch of bs, but don't do this if you don't want to. It could end up being the best thing you ever done but then again it could end up being the worst. So don't take anyones advice, go with what your heart tells you. No one else can make this decision but you. If you feel it is right then its right, otherwise don't go through with it.

If u truly love this person then u will do what the lord has asked and that is to make it official. it is in the bible that it is a sin to just live together. besides if u are that happy wouldnt u want to share last names and have your own set of children...
