If we get a Democrat president and Congress in 09, will they give amnesty to most illegal aliens?

Most of the Dem presidential candidates and the Dem US senators favored the senate immigration bill which would have gaven amnesty to most of the illegals in the US. Will they be able to pass an amnesty bill in 2009?

Yes, I believe the Democrats will give the illegal aliens (from Mexico and anywhere else) amnesty. The Democrats believe these people will vote for them. What it's all about is the votes. They are not taking into consideration the thoughts of the American public on this Amnesty idea.

The militia has been depleted. They are already signing up Mexican lads and ladies right left and centre and giving them and their families instant citizenship. You really cannot predict anything with this insane beast called the American government!

John S has a point there. THE GOVERNMENTS KEEP ALL OF US IGNORANT OF the NAFTA. I scan the news daily and see NOTHING almost in the news. Meanwhile people get all riled up over something they can do nothing about. Except hate. And THAT is part of the agenda. Social unrest is a very desirable state for the US government ~ they can pull off more scams upon us all.

You are assuming that amnesty does not go through on the Farm Bill. You are aware that Salazar and the other Dems who so badly wanted to give our country away to criminals on the last go around are trying to squeeze in an amendment to the farm bill that will give blanket AMNESTY to all current illegal alien farm workers. I have a clue for you. They think all illegals work on farms, so they ALL ARE GOING TO GET AMNESTY.

Now lets assume this does not happen and the scenario, God forbid, you have portrayed does occur. It is a foregone conclusion that you and I had better get pretty good in Spanish because they will absolutely give AMNESTY.

Wake up AMerica, if you want amnesty vote for a democrat, if not vote for a repub, it is simple as that.

Ted Kennedy was trying to propose a bill which would require every American with an extra bedroom to rent it to an illegal.
The bill thankfully never made it off the ground but in a few years from now who knows?
I wonder though if HE'D rent a spare room in his home to someone he doesn't know and isn't even supposed to be here?
I hope the Democrats fade away and we don't have to worry about them messing us up in 2008 when we get a new President.
I'm hoping for the best and until then I'm going to keep praying that in 2008 we'll have a new President who will do the job right and perform his duties with virtue and honor.

Bush, Vincente Fox and Canadas Prime Minister Martin agreed in 2005 to the North American Union. How can they persecute Mexicans that are entering their new country. The amnesty bill is a wag the dog issue designed to buy time untill the NAU agreement becomes finalized.

I think it is a real possibility. I am about as liberal as they come, but I believe in country before politics. For me giving amnesty to people who enter the country illegally is just plain wrong! If they have no more respect for this country than to brake the law getting in. How can anyone think they will respect the law once they are in?

That would be political suicide. We just went through the gut-wrenching experience where citizens had to rise up against the legislature to put a stop to the amnesty bill.

Absolutely, who would mow the pinkos' lawns and build their mansions and raise their children if the illegal aliens were gone?
Plus, they break socialist 3-to-1, so that translates into future generations of hard-line leftist voters for the Demagogue party.

They won't wait til then...they're trying right now. They know that if they legalize the illegals, that will increase their voting base. The democrats provide more social programs, give aways, to people who don't contribute to society. Hillary said it all recently when she proposed "redistributing the wealth",
taking money from hardworking Americans and giving it to worthless bums.
