Can I just skip that part and not have to waste my time raising 1000000 rupies?

Yes yo do. But, you don't have to earn 1,000,000 rubees. You have to get 10,100 though. Buy the first code from one of the guys, then go to the next room and buy that code. Write it down, then find Slim the Pixl. Go all the way up in the secret place, then using Slim, get past the lasers, then put the 8-digit code in. On the inside there is 1,000,000 rubees.
