I do hope that this is incorrect..........

It is by far the best anti-virus program on the market, and to-boot it is free for personal use.

It does not lie down to anything!

It beats any of the other bloatware laughingly known as an anti-virus programs, I refer to the best known of all.

I doubt it, while this AV product's profile is growing. BY the way, this is a GOOD (not great) AV product that is only famous as it is free, and people dislike the skin of Avast! Avira Personal is free and better than AVG.

AVG will not be coming to an and anytime soon. Don't worry. And even if it does, there are still the (better) alternative out there to use.

I hope not, AVG is a superb antivirus. I use it on both Windows and Linux.

I guess Avast! is alright though so we have an alternative. There is also AntiVir Personal.

OMG at least we know AVG does the job without reading up on every bloody free AV there is =(

You heard wrong. http://free.grisoft.com

It's not going to be any time soon unless the company folds, IMO. I'll be damned if it does cause I use it and I love it.
