There are a number of mexicans there were born directly in Spain that were given mexican citizenship.

Otherwords, Spanish people that were born in Spain that came to Mexico and were given Mexican citizenship. That makes our people Mexican who are proud of our heritage!!!!!!!!

VIVA MEXICO! VIVA ESPANA!!

You are right in some aspects of your question, Mexicans come in all colors, there are many of almost pure Spanish blood, the whites, and there are those with pure Indian blood (The Indio , the Indigenous people) that still converse in their indigenous languages, the same people if they speak only Spanish and follow Mexican culture are considered Mexicans, The vast majority of us are Mestizo of mixed bloods. You have the right to consider your self a Mexican or Spaniard or Indian ,what ever you please. The same with Americans and the English, there are people who consider them self's as English "Blue bloods" the rest are a mixtures of only ( God knows) of what blood, they do not know or care who they are or where they come from,
Mexico and Spain they are not the same, two different cultures two different people. Spain is the only country in Europe I would like to visit. Remember you are who you want to be that is your God given right.

I'm not sure what your question is. All Mexican people are decendants of Spaniards. Mexicans are a mix of Spaniard and Indian (or the indigenous people of Mexico)= Mestizo. If you are Mexican you would know. That may be why there are spanish culture festivals in Mexico. There may be some pure Spaniards still in Mexico if they migrated recently.

Our spanish is not even like their "castellano".. if you were born in Mexico you are mexican, nothing else.. Why being proud of a country you haven't even been in..?
¡¡ VIVA MÉXICO !!

yea right. I was born in Mexico and that's it! I don't consider myself Spanish. Yea they contributed to my looks somehow, but that's it! I'm a Mestiza like the majority of Mexicans. Mexico has a much different culture than Spain as well as a different accent. Also, Spainiards do not have any Aztec or Mayan blood so how could they be the same thing??

Your name should be spanishaztec or something.............

i'm afraid not hombre...people born in spain are spaniards, people born in mexico are mexicans. these two peoples share some cultural aspects only because your original ancestors were 'civilized' by the conquering spanish and forced to convert to catholicism. before that time, your ancestors developed a magnificent group of cultures during a long and rich history of great achievement. but cultural pluses aside, your ancestors were also quite barbaric in the spaniards eyes, what with all the human sacrifice and all...i'd say they did you a big favor by destroying that ancient people of yours. well, EXCEPT for the catholicism that is...they owe you BIG time for that travesty...i'd have my lawyer get in touch with the vatican if i were you, it has VERY deep pockets...lol...

I'm sorry but no, Spain and Mexico are not the same. Of course they may have some similarities because Spaniards formed Mexico but they are still totally different cultures.

This isn't a question.
I'm Mexican and Spain is very different from Mexico. I've been to Barcelona and Madrid. Just because people are decedents of Spaniards and Spain conquered Mexico doesn't mean we are identical.

Believe it or not, you conquistadores haven't completely overrun us. There are still lots of Mestizo Indians around. Mexico and Spain? You might as well say the North and South Poles are the same!

Completely two different countries, and nationalitys all together. A mexican is a mixture of Spainish and Indian, a Spaniard is a mixture of Moor and French if I'm not mistaken.
Their lifestyles and language are all together different. Both beautiful countries and wonderful people.
