i'll try ro help:
[6x / (x - 2)] ÷ 3x
= [6x / (x - 2)] ÷ (3x / 1)
__flip it
= [6x / (x - 2)] x (1 / 3x)
__cross them
= (6x)(1) / (x-2)(3x)
= (6x) / (x-2)(3x)
__simplify them, divide 6x with 3x

When you have " ÷ 3x ", what is the FIRST thing that you should do?

When you are dividing by something, than that is the SAME AS multiplying by the "reciprocal" (flip)

SOOO... you rewrite " ÷ 3x " as...... " TIMES 1/(3x) "

so...

[6x / (x - 2)] ÷ 3x is the same as [6x / (x - 2)] TIMES 1/(3x)

6x.........1
------- * ------- = ?
(x-2) ... 3x

notice that you have x on top... and x on bottom... those 2 x's cancel each other...

Now 6 / 3 is equal to 2, right?

So your answer is...

2
-----
(x-2)

This is the same as [(6*X)/(X-2)] * [1/3X]

Multiply it out, and you get 6*X on the top and 3*X*(X-2) on the bottom.

The X on top and the X on bottom cancel out. Then note that 3 goes into 6 2 times. You end up with:

2/(X-2)
