this is why you shouldn't get advice from those who don't know.

Yeah, if you have extremely dark urine, it may be a sign of dehydration, but if you notice this, you are not doubt noticing other signs. You need IV fluids, to expand your volume now, you do not need to SIMPLY drink more water.

This can be a sign that your kidneys are not being profused, and are dying. Now, the worst thing you could do is drink more water and wait for any period of time before heading for help.

If you kidneys are already damaged from lack of perfusion, and you drink more water, you could simply fluid overload yourself, and your kidneys may not respond (depending on the extent of damage) and this presents even more problems.

So people, please, if you do not know, just stop giving advice. Go to somewhere other than the medical questions, where at least people may not die listening to your responses.

It is a total possibility that you might have Hepatitis A, B, or C. Hepatitis is a virus which affects the liver. Hepatitis A and B are usually only temporary whereas Hepatitis C can lead to permanent liver damage, liver cancer, and ultimately liver failure. The best bet is to see a doctor right away and have a urine sample tested for the virus.

Dark yellow urine means you need to drink more water. Dark urine that doesn't look yellow probably means something is wrong. like having blood in urine etc. You need to start drinking more water. and by a couple of weeks, if it doesn't look natural. You need to see a doctor.

It is very wise to seek medical advice from a Dr. If it is black that is a sign that there is blood present. It is healthy to drink lots of water, but healthier to go get it checked asp.! Could be a kidney infection or something wrong with kidneys.

I agree with most of the others;
Drink more water, and see a doctor if it doesn't change within a week or so.

Maybe you weren't getting enough fluids or maybe something else could be wrong.

You are kidding, surely! See a doc, and if you don't have some sort of medical problem, you better start drinking a lot more water!

First of all, you need to consult your doctor.

What you describe suggests haematuria or presence of blood in urine. You will need to be examined and investigated.
