In a way, yes. It's a rather morbid way to look at it but yes as mortal beings, from the day we exist we move toward death. Each day is another day closer to the end. Of course we never know when our final day will be. The key is to focus on living not dying. Make the most of each day. It's a beautiful world. Enjoy every moment of it. It is made all the more precious by the fact that it is so fragile and can end at any time.

Not exactly. Being born is the beginning of life and we all know that life ends for everyone but the actual dying process does not start until something happens that triggers it such as an accident or disease of some type.

I believe that you begin the aging process as soon as you are born and I guess you can think of that as the beginning of the end.

I was brought up believing that we actually start living after we die. Do I believe this? No...
But to answer you're question I do believe we start dying as soon as we're born to some extent...

There is a part of me that does believe that, and another part that knows that our days are certainly numbered, but we are to focus on the living part.

It could be that you do start dying as soon as youre born, maybe that is why we cling to life so hard; you recon?

Yes, our cells are always dying. In the womb, we were growing and fortifying ourselves to live in the outside. As soon as we are born, we wrinkle and cells begin to die and some turn cancerous bringing what would be our ultimate death. Yes, I've always believe that as soon as we are born we start die. The clock is ticking.

Of course not-how can you consider the process of growing like dying? Perhaps once you have fully matured and reach a plateau of life, you can look at it as dying when your body begins to degenerate. But personally, I don't think we begin to die until our body systems begin to shut down. Everything else is just life.

of course...if you can label something as a beginning you have to have an ending. I would say that anyone isolated on the equator not only does not have a name for winter they equally do not have a name for summer.
If you can see yourself as a parenthesis in eternity you can avoid the living and dying dichotomy

No absolulty not yes we age but our body does not start dying untill there is a problem, and the cells and organs are eaten up by a virus, as we grow we produce and form new cells and bones etc and this is not a form of dying

No, you start dying when you start dying. We're all heading towards death. It is inevitable. However, I do not feel that we start dying at birth. It takes some type of illness or malfunction in order for the body to start dying.
