Also, I'm no fan of fascism, either; it just strikes me as funny how they are the boogeymen of the left, despite the fact that the #1 commie mass-murderer (Mao) killed more civilians than every right-wing dictator in the past 200 years COMBINED. Why do the libs always feel obligated to defend communism by proxy? As a conservative, I have no problem saying that Hitler was an SOB who is in hell right now.

3. Nope
4. nope
5. nope
6. Nope...but my country does come after my family and friends
7. Not accurate...but eye opening.
8. HELL NO
9. Yes.

Then i'm not a "Real" American. I'm a Real (no quotations) citizen of the world, a member of the human race who is allowed to have free, individual thought.

EDIT: Prob tax them a bit higher...give back to the country and let the government redistribute it...but it would never work in the United States...the government is too dumb (not a jab at the Bush administration...EVERY administration)

I am a "Real American" and all of your points are well taken and completely understood. I do really love your number one because of the duties of my job. I can't get into it into detail, but there are some truly poor that do need help, but the rich should not be mandated to help them. It should be their choice. But most of the "poor" that are getting fed (via Food Stamps) are lazy young men and women who don't want to get a job or continue to get pregnant and use that as an excuse not to work. I know, I've seen it firsthand, and I just wanted to let you know that your points are concise and true.

My mother came from a different country and my wife recieved her citizenship only about 3 years ago. Through my experiences, being an American is an idea that anyone no matter where they are from can subscribe to.

Being an American is very unique in the world in that is not a race. It is a group of people that subscribe to an idea. It means that no matter your race, religion, or creed, you can succeed in this country with hard work and a little smarts. My mother, who married my father who was a US soldier went from making a meager $17 a month for 6 months because my dad had to borrow money to bring her to this country to now owning 4 properties and 3 cars, just recently buying a BMW. Not many countries in the world can you raise your station in life to become successful.

America is not perfect. I often criticize America for being very short sighted in its policies, poor government leadership, and poor foreign policy. But for all of its imperfections this is still the greatest country in the world. It is great because we have people from all over the world and from all walks of life coming together to work together to make us strong. We are an example that creed, color, and religion for as much as they can divide us also can unite us. America, (if we had better leadership) could be an example of how different people can come together and work together and get along together.

1. If you believe in robbing the rich to feed the poor...
That's certainely an un-American sentiment. Our nation was founded on personal initiative, not communistic punishment of success.

2. If you believe America is "part of the problem, not part of the solutiom..."
Only parts of America are 'part of the problem'.

3. If you believe in forcing media outlets to air views they do not endorse...
Not just un-american, it's illegal!

4. If you believe a stray Israeli bullet ricocheting into a civilian is morally equivalent to a person strapping a bomb on their child and remote-detonating it on a school bus full of children...
Hmmm, I see a strange inequality in those actions. I also don't see equality in the human bomb and an Israeli soldier killing a 12year old who's shooting at him. People don't seem to understand that the "palestinian" children that are killed in this war are combatants as well.

5. If you believe that the million communist soldiers we killed during the cold war (Korea + Vietnam) were more tragic victims than the over 100 million civilians killed by communist leaders we weren't at war with...
It's amazing what libs will call tragic.

6. If you are a Muslim first and an American second...
Hmmm? I'm a Christian first and an American second, so I can't really follow that one.

7. If you have ever described a Michael Moore film as, "Accurate" or "Eye-opening..."
Sicko was very accurate. If you are in the top 1% of upper-class of Cuban society, you have acess to reasonably decent medical care.

8. If Rosie O'Donnell "Makes a lot of sense" to you...
"Fire can't melt steel." - really tell that to a foundry worker.

9. If you believe U.S. law should be subject to international "consensus..."
Not even going to go there. You don't want to get me started on all of that garbage.

10. If you are against using military force to "Make others do the right thing," but the Civil War was OK...
I'm for military force to make others, do what's best for us. That's what the military exists for.

You bet I'm a real American...I believe in negotiations and talks when possible and force when necessary. I believe in individual responsibility and determination. I believe in dreams and opportunities, whether accidental or self made...I believe in America and the American spirit. If that's not acceptable then I have a spot reserved on my backside for people to kiss.

In other words, if you are a right winged nut you are a "Real American". If you are a left winged nut you "are not". This sounds more like a choice between Ann Coulter and Rosie O'Donnell.

The question begs to be asked: Is anyone arrogant enough to make this statement a real narcissist?

Americans have the RIGHT to form their own views and make their own decisions as to defining who they want to be versus who others would dictate them to be.

That is not a true blodded American, we a free country, and part of the solution, simply trying to help the other countries and settle the conflicts, but as a child who has their mom settle out the argument with a friend, you hate your mom for settling it, but deep inside, you were thankful that was over. The other countires sometimes focus on the bad things that they THINK America has done, but deep down in their hearts and people, they all think we have done a good deed for them but are too embarressed to confess it for the sake of their lives and of their country.
