He was the funniest person ever on Eastenders. I stopped watching after he left it. It was always so depressing after that, no-one ever smiled or laughed. Saw it today for the first time in ages. OMG. Did that bride really jump off a building rather than marry Phil Mitchell? Wise girl.

Just saw it on the news. My Dad remembered when he and my Mum saw him doing the entertainment at his darts teams night out over 40 years ago. He said he asked for a cigarette from the audience and then told jokes for ages about this one thing. My Dad remembers nothing usually!

But as Radio One died some years ago, they'll have somewhere good to work. Actually they'll have a choice between Radios One and Caroline !
