I personally think most White Americans are upset they come from the same continent (Europe) and have the same skin color as some people who speak Spanish. Either that or they are very ignorant to history and anthropolgy.

Most White Americans don't know the difference between Mexicans and Spanish. They think they are the same because they speak the same language. I know that they are White Europeans even if most Americans don't.

How many people do you know that swim across the Atlantic from Spain to break in to America compared to the number of Mexicans who sneak across the Rio Grande? this i will never understand.
my ancestors are from sicily - which is every bit as far south as spain - yet i am considered caucasian.
i also think that sicily had every bit as much influence from arab nations - especially turkey - as spain ever did.
so, i don't understand...
