We didn't fight the war in order for anybody to get a "Homeland"! When the Israel govt. and people can give the Palistinians the homeland they deserve, and the rights to travel freely, then the injustices committed in the past can be addressed, and with justice, there will be peace.

No. Israel is not reckoned among the other nations.
The gentile prophet Bilaam says it clearly in Numbers 23:
"For from the top of the rocks I see him, and from the hills I behold him: lo, it is a people that shall dwell alone, and shall not be reckoned among the nations."
Lots of disillusioned Jews try to fight against this prophecy.
(Israel is the only country not allowed to serve on the UN Security Council)

The irony is that Herzl saw the Jewish state as a way for Jews to live as everyone else free of anti-semitism as equals among the nations.
Well we see the result.

I fear not and that is tragic. The Jewish people deserve to live on their own land in peace.

well, if they would stop trying to genocide the palestinians and steal all their land, and give back the land they've invaded, then sure. But will those things happen? doubt it.
