I just purchased a hondamatic and it has a ticking sound, sounds like the timing chain might need adjusted. anyone know how to check this or have a repair manual they can scan and send to me via email?? any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I think the owners manual has all of the tune up specs including cam chain tensioner adjustment. There are several manuals on eBay.
Those are good little machines, enjoy it & please ride safe.

I have this same bike. 81 cm400a... and luck for you i just got a repair manual for mine... so you say it is timing chain?
