My girlfriend is a hair dresser and her weekly income changes all the time. She was told that she cant get a loan unless she has a steady pay check with the same ammount every time. Is this true? I cant find any info on this and would like to show her that there has to be away for her to get a loan with this job.

Any info will help!!

She should be able to get a loan for people who own their own business. If I have it correct, she rents her station and can come and go as she wants - an independent contractor. There are loans out there for this situation. See a mortgage broker rather than a bank.

how do you think farmers get there loans -- they do not have a weekly and most cases monthly salary. she needs to forget about weekly checks and take the last three years tax file plus what she has paid into estimate taxes this year and then she should have no problem qualifying provide she made enough.

If your yearly income is stable there should be no problem, bring in your taxes for the last few years to show that yes annually she makes x amount per year, or per month
