The Moon, that old Devil Moon, the Blue Moon, the Moon Over Miami, Moonlight Sonata, Moonshine (do not drink it), Moonbeam, and hundred or thousands more. And thank our lucky stars it's there! Sometimes I think it's lonely and needs a companion, another moon with bright eyes, a loving smile, and livelier social skills.

Earth's companion has many names in as many languages. "Moon" is English, "luna" is Russian, "korah" is Hebrew, and so on.

The Romans called the moon Diana, and attributed it to the goddess. The Greeks associated it with Artemis. The Egyptians considered it to be a sign of Thoth, the god of knowledge.

Can't muster a bona fide question, so you came up with this one? Too much time on your hands. Can't think to Wikipedia or Google this simple silliness? A pitiful waste of your time and ours.
