Friends in an online game. There is a way to form a group of friends that play together all the time. It's sort of like a friends list only it's part of the game rather than like Yahoo.

The only guildies I know of refer to games like World of Warcraft. A guild is kind of a "club" I guess you can say. People on a game join a certain club or group of people. If you're in a guild you usually call your guild friends your Guildies.
I dont know what that has to do with Science and Mathematics but there you go! Haha!
