like a national park, or the eiffel tower, or some big thing like that that tons of people visit?? i love near Yosemite, and thats like a giant tourist attraction, and like a must-see national park in the USA, but it doesnt seem so special to me cuz im so used to it........do you understand what im trying to say and ask??? do you live near something big?

yeah, i understand what you mean.
Well, i don't live near anything important, i live in IOWA. Nothing big here, but i completely understand what you mean.
I love to travel a lot and whenever i go somewhere, like i went to the Taj Mahal a year ago, and the people there like wake up looking at it, and they're like "meh."
haha, it's so odd, but understandable.

Nothing huge, but...
The Abraham Lincoln museum and library, Mark Twain's boyhood home, a couple of hours from St. Louis MO, and 4 hours or so from Branson MO.

Yes, I live near The Liberty Bell and Independence Hall... I pass them everyday and I don't even glance anymore. When I was a kid, this was a big deal to me...

How's the Daytona Speedway for ya? I forget it's there most of the time, until it's speed week and then I can't get around my own city well enough with all the racing fans.

I live within a reasonable distance of Graceland, Elvis Presley's home, but I've never toured it :)

ilived near the twin towers (pre-9/11) for many years and I guess you just get usd to it, like your annoying nephew. =)
