I don't know if that's possible to know for sure. Bass are smart fish. The older they get the smarter they get. So if people throw a worm or crankbait at em' constantly their usually gonna recognize a bait. But thats why they got a variety of tails and colors.Sometimes i catch fish off of crankbaits more than worms or spinners more than crankbaits. Basically what i'm saying is that fish it just depends i guess. I probably catch most my fish off of wacky worm. 6" watermelon dinger with a hook right through the middle of it.
