I would say look kid, dont believe everything you read, including stats. Roger Maris hit 61 home runs without performance enhancing help. Hank Aaron holds the record for most homers overall without medical help. Matter of fact, Aaron had many foes in racism and death threats to battle at the time he reached the record.

He is four years old and yells "cheater" whenever he sees Bonds on TV.

I think one should wait until Barry Bonds is proven to do steorids until judgment like that is passed. However, all parents should strongly warn their children about not just using steroids, but a whole bunch of legal and illegal supplements simply for the sake of improving their play. Sports are for fun- and a scary message a Bonds may be giving is that illegal supplements are the way to be great.

I will tell them that there is no honor in cheating. Barry Bonds may hold the record, but he has no honor. And, a man without honor is not a real man.

I will tell my daughter, "Yeah, I know it was Barry Bonds, but there is one good thing."

And she will say, "What is that Dad?"

And I will reply, "At least we didn't have to watch a Dodger break the record."
