I just heard the ArenaBowl XXI is today. I was just wondering does anybody really watch it or do you think its a joke? There is definately a lot of scoring but I just find it boring. There is nothing like the NFL GO EAGLES!!!

I don't think it's so much of a joke as a second chance for a lot of these ex-college players to play ball. All these guys weren't good enough to be in the NFL, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't be able to continue playing. I've watched from time to time and it's a lot more fast paced and high scoring than the NFL, but like you said, there is nothing like the NFL. In the Arena league it's all about who can score the most, the NFL is about who can cover their guy the best, who can come off the ball the fastest, who can jump the highest, who can throw the best, and ultimately who wants it the most. Bottom line, i find Arena football entertaining enough to keep me occupied during the offseason, so it's not totally useless.

I'm watching the Arena Bowl right now. I know its not as popular as the NFL but it keeps me from losing my mind, cause if I had to go the whole 6 months between the Super Bowl and the NFL preseason without any football to watch then i swear I'd go insane!

Only football junkies like me who are so depressed that the NFL regular season doesnt start until September and can't bear the thought of not seeing anyone toss a pigskin until that time period and in place of the really crappy qb's picture the faces of the familiar players they know and cherish and try to pretend that the 50 yd field is actually 100 and......sigh..no only losers watch the AFL

I watch it sometimes. Its an interesting sport but its so different from regular football its almost a different sport.

i can watch short bits of it before i get bored and change the channel. it's a high scoring league because 50 yard fields and less players on both sides of the ball make it easier to get from end zone to end zone. and the field goal posts are ridiculously small.

Its nothing compared to regular football. I dont even think arena football should b a sport. its really stupid!

I have to agree with You;It is boring to say the least,I believe a lot of use to bes or want to bes;Like it
