It's a horrible system because Yahoo just issues blanket violations without ever looking into the exact nature of the supposed infraction. There should be someone to look into these ridiculous "non" violations, someone you can talk to directly, instead of some ghost e-mailer. Imagine if our justice system worked like Yahoo, someone just points at you and BAM, you are convicted of a crime. I have no clue how you can receive a violation for that.

Good to see you Roz D.You have a troll on your back. There is nothing wrong with your questions or your answers. Some people around here hate the thought of fun and happiness.Stay strong and maybe create a back up account.I got an unwarranted violation myself,it just goes with the territory.

Nothing, violations are just being thrown around all the time. I was acually worried my "Mother should I trust the government" would get a violation. But I did get a violation for my "More cowbells anyone?" (as a refernce to the SNL skit on Blue Oyster Cult) it's pretty ridculous.

I know what you mean! I got one yesterday for asking, "What's for supper"! Weird, uh? And to answer your question, yes it does seem at times, that we are just two lost souls, swimming in a fish bowl!

Yea, yahoo answers is based on automaton, so once somebody reports you, your answer/question gets deleted, regardless if it is within the guidelines. The lazy yahoo staff don't actually check into the person's answer/question to determine if it is acceptable or not (like they make it seem).

Y!A is ridiculous. You get a violation for asking a simple question like "cats or dogs". I say, boycott Y!A automated system!

It's something stupid like "2" or "we" (examples, not the reason) that violates the community rules. Eg. You cannot ask how our day is.....
