There are several ways that America could fall, and I'm not going to discuss natural disasters (meteors and the like).

Another country could nuke us. Or some bioengineered super bug.

Extremists on both sides of the government could end up trying to separate the country and make a 'liberal' or 'conservative' (like the North and South in civil war).

A solid bloc of countries cut off trade and place sanctions on the US. It is possible for the US to survive that, but it would be hard.

However ,we are thinking of turning off the tap of our incredibly huge oil supply and damming up all our lakes and rivers so the US cannot get at our again absolutely huge fresh water supply.

However ,Americans ,if nothing else, have taught us Canadians the merits of un-fettered ruthless anti-Christian moral/ethical American style Robber Baron Capitalism and we may just take full advantage of what you have taught us about using and abusing the laws of demand and supply and offer Americans oil at a price of $25.00/gallon and bottled water at $6.00/ounce.

Any "bitching and complaining" will see this generous offer withdrawn.

So while you will not all perish because of a nuclear attack you will all die from thirst and the trauma caused by the loss of your ability to own and operate your gas guzzling SUVs .

Do not despair however because all of this death and destruction will make your Christian Fundamentalists estatic for their CHERISHED,LONG AWAITED "RAPTURE" WILL HAVE ARRIVED.

These "fundies" will be somewhat disappointed as their end in the RAPTURE will not be of the Hollywood/Bush/Old Testament SHOCK AND AWE kind but rather a slow lingering death as not un-like those who die of the ebola virus.
