Purple is a dark blue with a smidgeon of a red - so there can be many different kinds of purple, really. Yes the sky is a dark void. Light travels through it and becomes visible when it enters the lens of Earth's atmosphere - hence the light blue sky of day, the indigo of night (a kind of purple, really - blue, crimson, a little ochre). Yup - we're all aliens - or would be if there was anywhere else to go and we went there. Cloud 9? Just about anywhere I am while I'm still alive, I reckon. And wherever you choose to stand on it too. It's such a wonder!

1. It's all relative. There is no exact definition of what is blue and what is purple. We assign names to colour based on a general opinion, and this long before we started measuring colours by wavelength.

~~~ The color purple is actually the color blue polluted with splotches of the color red. Ick! Yes, the sky really is a black hole. Cool! Cloud Nine can be found hanging out in the middle of Cloud Eight and Cloud Ten. Let's hope for rain. ~~~

Maybe.Maybe there's not such thing as a color,maybe we're all just hallucinating what we see. I think we're aliens to one another as it is.Sure,we all look the same to some extent,2 eyes,10 fingers.But we're all so different.Maybe we're aliens and on another planet they're the one that are actually humans,maybe animals are humans and we're animals.Maybe we've been in a black hole all along,you can't always listen to what science says.There's endless possibilities.
