I have a Canon Pixma ip2000 printer. When trying to print it seems to only pull one side of the paper into the printer and not the other causing it to jam. This happens everytime and I cannot successfully print anything. I've cleaned the heads and all that jazz. Are the rollers broken on one side do you think? My printer doesn't print with the front hood open so I can't look to see whether the rollers are working properly.

Any advice much appreciated, I'm getting very angry with it!

Remove paper,. look in (with torch in needed) and see if there is a small fragment of paper or a paper clip caught in it, if so try to remove with tweezers.

Sounds like an obstruction to one side.

Printers are funny animals as you all find out when we own one. There are not many buttons to help in fixing problems and not much to really do. Some things you can try are to unplug the printer, count to ten and replug it. What this will do is to make the printer re-set. If that does not help try to do a re-installation. Also I would go on-line to the Cannon web-site and ask tech for help. If none of this work take it back and get a new one.
