I am 20 year old girl and live in a flat on second floor. My bathroom window is toword the street and covered with curtain. But if you try little harder , you can poke inside, but for that you will need ladder and there is big risk of being caught. Most importantly, it is not ovious. I never dreamed that some body will look. To make long story short, two neiougbourhood guys, on the excuse of doing maintaiance, did poke through when i was taking shower at night. I think that they saw me naked, but i am not 100% sure, but 99%. I can see the smile on their face and the fact i know that they were doing some maintainance work at the same time. What should i do? I am really ashamed

Do not carry for what has happened because you are not sure but be careful and inform the society manager that as and when there is any maintenance the flat owners should be informed (not to be mentioned -so that this type of mistakes are not repeated). Are you staying alone in the flat or with your parents. If with parents then instead of your complaining, it should be your parents.

They are the ones who should be ashamed for not respecting your privacy! You have nothing to be ashamed of. Just figure out a way to cover up the area near the window so that they can't see you again.

I know how you might have felt about the incedent. In my opinion you should forget the incident and concentrate on your furture. Dont ever look directly into their eyes as you will feel insecure. Apart from this if they make any remarks, tell your parents, what happened and inform the police about their behaviour. And nowadays lots of glasses/ window are coming which can cover your bathroom and prevent from futher embracement.

You should not be ashamed of something you never did..
It's cheap on their part...
In such a situation their is only 2 options
A- you be careful and take precautions that such incidents should not occur again
B - Use your contacts to get them punished
However using the second option would only defame you... Better be careful...
Waise I'm still amzed how is this possible???

I really feel that you a really good girl who cares about herself.
However buddy it was not you who did the mistake, as per your info I think you should not report it to police as it would make you infamous. Rather if you are residing in a rented flat then try to move to an unknown location so that you dont have to face those sleazy creatures.
Rest be brave to face this weird world...much more to go...

hi ! dont feel ashamed dear. those guys were so mean .i think u r an indian.i also know about the cultures of indian society n the close bonding in indian families. i wl advice u to talk to ur parent about this - at least ur mom, once she had been a teenager girl just like u r now - i'm sure she will b able 2 understand u properly .n she wl be able to talk about to ur dad.jus go thru a discussion wid ur parents. they wl b able to guide u in the right path in this matter n if ur parents want 2 complain about this in a police station or sth like that, i think they wl b doin da rite thing. if da guys had bad intentions at heart, they mite want to do same next time.so be careful .i think its ur duty to aware the girls in ur society about the guys . n if u talk about this matter to some1 else other than ur parents, dont tell them those guys so u naked .tell them that u saw them peeping thru ur bathroom window.
n if its bothering u so much, go for an outing wid ur frnds or family .try to enjoy life n dont let this matter upset u so much that it affects ur studies. all da best 4 whichever path u chose !

there is nothing to feel ashamed in this.Those people who saw u will feel ashamed if they tell this to anyone so dont bother.In any case they have no proof that they so u ,even if they have there is no new story to tell .Their sisters would also be the same.
Nothing but your feeling of guilt (which is unwanted )will harm u ,so get rid of it as soon as u can and enjoy life

Act as if the incident did not happen. Ingnore the looks and take off the curtain and put some thing solid and not see through. Even I might be tempted

You should have taken care when you know that they are doing maintenance work there. Now forget it. Change your timings.Make some permanent arrangement to the window. Just give a complaint that you have seen them peeping in the window ,No need to say you were taking bath

Forget it. It was just an accident. Nothing to be ashamed of. But be a bit more careful in future. It depends a lot on how you carry yourself.
