Has society beocome too sensitive?

I think people in general have become over sensitive and analyze everything and take it to heart. 20 years ago you would just take it on the chin and forget it or realize that maybe they didn't mean it that way, and look for a positive. But now if someone makes a comment or shares their opinion, we don't just laugh it off and think, oh well, thats their opinion, we analyze it and only see the negative.

Also, some people get seriously pissed off if you happen to glance in their direction, you could be just looking and thinking 'i like their hat or they've got nice eyes or i wonder where they got that coat, but they just grunt 'wot u lookin at' and punch .

Too sensi--WHAT??? How dare you make that insinuation! I am deeply offended that you would think we're all too sensitive! Really, did you not consider the feelings of others before saying that?

i'll agree with that to a point. even sharing opinions has become taboo. people avoid certain subjects to avoid conflict, but at the same time they deny any potential discussion and learning experience.

but it's not exactly that they've become to sensitive. i think this is a product of our compartmentalization as a society as a whole. people stick to their opinions to stick to their individuality and therefor take everything personally. rather than seeing the discussion for what it is, they perceive disagreement as an insult to their character.

no willow society became DULL, reason: society became a bit Negative, thanks to MEDIA

for the last 7-10 years I have never seens many postive news from newsd radio TV stations almost none.

Willow: thanks to "politically correct society" we becoming dull :)
