Considering that both of them are the first in "their kind" (African-American and Female), it is going to be a pretty good race! I think Hillary would win because her extensive experience in the political field in general, and her famous husband, Bill. But if I had to vote today, I would vote for Barack, because I want to see what he has to offer for America, and it would be refreshing to have somebody "different" for a change. Maybe America will be better off, who knows? What do you think?

Obama, he is the best candidate. More brains and has more integrity and is more pragmatic than Hillary. We want something new in this country, not more of the same political BS

What they are physically is not the problem. The problem is what these two are in their objectives.

Do we really know what is hidden away in their minds? Are we sure they will do what is best for America? Will they put themselves above America in order to satisfy a super ego?

These are the questions we need to ask? Not their gender or race.

Take time, listen carefully, don't rush, there is a lot more to the vote than a fast talking person. Be kind to the rest of us, we will have to live with your choice.

we dont need refreshments right now. we need proven ability to deal with the world & it's view of america. obama could probably be used to do the job that rice has failed to do by building positive relations with middle eastern countries, but the guy is not experienced enough to lead the us. not only that, buy in my opinion, america is absolutely not ready for a black man to be president & it's not just because he is black. this is the single most important election in the modern day history of america. this time, whoever is leading, must get it right. global changes deem it so. like the people who survived the tsunami said, suddenly it didn't matter what political party you were in, or the color of our skin, all that mattered is survival. that's what this country & frankly this world is heading towards.

Hillary has been AROUND politics ( not much real personal experience) enough to become corrupt beyond imagination. She does not have much more political experience than Obama (if any).
Obama has not been corrupted as much as Hillary so If I just had to pick one of those two...it would be Obama. Neither are my first choice.

Obama, in the last debate it was clear he knew he wasn't running against Bush in '08. Plus Clinton is way too polarizing and I think people want a change. And a Bush, Clinton, Bush Clinton is too much status quot.

And on a side note, why can't Y!A put Obama in their dictionary. Sheesh, he is a prime candidate for the presidency.

Edwards will win, he's gaining a little momentum. If you have watched previous Democratic conventions..."it ain't over until it's over" as Yogi Berra would say. I don't like Clinton, because she is the old school version and represents the divisiveness in America...Edwards is for real...or as real as is possible...a decent man foremost

Hillary is going to get the nomination.

And the fact she's a woman is simply not remarkable.

Margaret Thatcher was not elected because she was a woman. She was elected because she was the right person at the right time -- period.
