I've been dying my hair since I was 12 so half my life. My natural hair colour is chestnut and 90 percent of the time it's dyed or half dyed blonde. Is this unhealthy? Could I have damaged hair when I much older? I'm 23 by the way.

I don't personlly dye it. I get done at salons and they use natural dyes. (Not bleach).

Damage yes, unhealthy yes... And since you keeps dying it.. your scalp comes into contact with chemicals often, I think it might fall out.

why don't you shave your head and let the real color show- you may love it. If your hair feels soft and is shiny you're okay. But personally ( and I did every color available until I was 21) I think it is chemically very dangerous to expose yourself to that stuff . If you wouldn't put it in your mouth- don't put it on your hair or skin.

No, you would only damage your current hair. Hair grows constantly so, if you stopped, and cut off all the hair you have now, all the hair that grows back in, would be in good condition...

yes, your hair will eventually start to break off and be brittle/ you are losing the natural oils and vitamins needed for healthy hair and you may have dry scalp also causing dandruff.. and later become bald in places or bald headed.

It can damage it, but Redkin, extreme Anti-snap will help. Try it! It works for me, and it lasts for a long time, so it's economical.
