gwynn.. if theres no steroids.. bonds* is not a team player and has no regards for his fans and thinks hes the only guy in the clubhouse... tony gwynn is a player of class and he has more hits than bonds*. bonds* will never make 3000 hits. gwynn did.

I love Tony Gwynn and am not a Barry Bonds fan, but you'd have to take Barry Bonds. He is probably one of the top 5 hitters who have ever lived. Gwynn was a great player too, but he lacked power and speed.

Bonds easily. Gywnn is a good guy, but for lack of a better term is a glorified singles hitter. Bonds can do it all offensively, and in his prime was a great defenive outfielder which Gwynn was not.

Depends on the team's need and if you have a power hitter than take T. Gwynn but if you have a good contact hitter but need a power hitter then take Barry.
Until Barry has been convicted of using steroids, STOP ACCUSING HIM OF DOING SO!!!. In this country,YOU ARE INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY
