facts are, doctors wanted an investigation because the pattern of 3 shots to the forehead was inside 2 inches. according to the doctors, the shots had to be fired from less than 10 yards away to keep this tight of a pattern from an m-16. obviously this was not simply mistaken identity friendly fire from just 10 yards away. so if it wasn't ordered, why the intitial cover up. why the executive privilege claim when bush administration was questioned on the matter. there is a congressional hearing on the subject this week. stay tuned.

I think that it is possible that it was ordered but we might never know the whole truth. The Bush administration has been less than forthcoming from the start and it appears that they still don't want the American people to know the truth about what they have been up to.

a.) What do doctors know about shot patterns from M-16s? I'll tell you: absolutely nothing.

b.) How do you know there were 3 shots within a 2 inch radius on his forehead. Care to share your source? How could he have radioed that his was taking friendly fire if his brains were blown out?

c.) Why the initial cover-up? Because the military didn't want the US public to know that the NFL guy was killed by his own troops.

I don't buy into the conspiracies, but I'd be willing to bet that because Tillman was such a high-profile troop...I mean EVERYONE had read about him giving up his NFL career to join the military...the senior officers knew there would be a fire-storm of bad press when he got killed by friendly fire, that they panicked and tried to cover it up.

It's just so tragic on so many levels.
