... I want to concentrate on listening to the analysis of Prokoviev's Classical Symphony on Radio 3 but I just *have* to keep answering questions and asking my own.
Help me to switch off - I'm possessed!

Thank you reiki - I shall investigate!.
I do listen to *music* and do my bit here at the same time - but the Prokoviev programme had talking too and I was caught between that and reading/writing on here - it's alright that's my problem - it was just a cry for help!

I know it can be so addicting, to me, it is kinda relaxing to see that other people have worse promblems than i do and i know it's wrong that it makes me feel better, but also i have found at times, it's stressful looking at all these promblems, but since i can't get my household to listen to me at times at least i can go on here and i know there reading my answers...lol.....but there are times i'm like ok 30 more minutes then i am off of here, and i look down and it's been two hours it's crazy, i don't know why it's so addicting, if you find the answer to your question, let me know please...LOL

...and crazy discussions about the relative merits of Beethoven's Choral Fantasy and Beethoven's 9th Symphony.

It's awful, ain't it?

One of the reasons I started answereing questions here is because I saw so much bad information being passed on, and I wanted to up the quality a little bit. But somewhere along the way I found a soapbox or two to stand on -- and I need to stop that and try to focus on the original goal.

But having discussions with folks like you who actually have a passion for the music, whether they are knowledgeable about nuts and bolts or simply lovers of great art for whatever reason, is something that I cannot resist. The amount of knowledge, perspective and insight I have gained form cetain folks is valuable to me, and I want to pass it forward, if I can.

Call it an addiction, or an obsession, or whatever, but I love it.

I am more the Waffle house, Gospel music, sort of person, but I could probably spend my time better, reading my Bible and praying for all your Heathens and pagans....I'll send a Priest to see if he can cast out that demon that possesses you, but I think I will just lose control...I think I like it....
