'shemales' are extreme transvestites who work in the porn industry.
The only surgery they have is breast augmentation, and possibly facial surgery, to appear more feminine.
'Shemales' are NOT transsexual, and transsexual women are NOT 'shemales'.

Are you talking about androgynous people? As in they have both male and female traits?
They're usually born like that, but they probably can become that way after surgery.

it depends on which way you are refering to it. "she-males" can refer to male to female transexuals that have yet to have the bottom surgery done.
Or it could be hermaphrodites (spelling? lol) who are naturally born with both sets of organs (though sometimes underdevloped). such as maybe a woman with a extremely small penis where her clitorous (spelling?) would be and a vaginal hole.

They are definitely born naturally. Some times the very femine ones remove their male parts surgically, but from what I have seen that doesn't help them emotionally. Extreemly effeminate transsexuals are a different group. The she-males display many boyish traits in their behavior and additude, but emphasize their girl part. Trannies behave like women, not girls. and have some adult maleness also. (but not "boyish")

Shemale is a porn industry term used to refer to a pre-op or non-op MtF transsexual. I doubt that these women describe themselves as shemale outside of their work. They are female, the GRS just makes the outside match the inside.

Hermaphodites are born naturally but are very very rare. Most she males are men/women in transition waiting for a sex change surgury.
