Because as a kid, you really don't have very many responsibilities. You don't HAVE to have a job, to pay bills, to pay for food, to pay for a roof over your head, ect. I do realize I tell my oldest to "grow up" sometimes. It's because she's not acting her age at times. (She's 9 and decided to cut her hair the other week). I think I use that term "grow up" too loosely. Anyway, enjoy being your age and Good Luck!

No one tells me to stay a kid cause I don't try to act like a "snobby mature adult"-I remain myself.

They tell you that because now is the age where you can goof off and it is excepted. When you are an adult goofing off is looked down upon.

I don't tell people that, but I know for myself, I want to act as young as I can for as long as I can, when you act old, you feel old, and begin to look old, as long as your main responsibilities are taken care of you should be able to act as young as you want to act
