They're like any other Big Box Store, jsut trying to earn a Profit. I don't see the Big Deal Though.
I experience the same things at a Wal-Mart I do at a Target. I experience the Same Things at a Target I would at a K-Mart.
Sheesh, they became a business just like everyone else and yet you choose to pick on them.
It's a Capitalist Economy people! Get over it!
I don't see people boycotting BET, TV Land, Nickelodeon, MTV and VH1 just because Viacom let the quality of their programming fall down the drain.
I don't see people Boycotting Cartoon Network, TBS, TNT, CNN or any other station just because Time Warner/AOL let the quality of their programming slide down the hill.
So why must you treat Wal-Mart that way?

If I was to guess, it would be because the majority of people who have shopped at Walmart had a bad experience. Like forget the fact that the things are somewhat cheap, but has ANYONE ever been in that place when it wasn't mobbed with people? It's incredibly hard to move in there and getting someone to help you is near impossible, and then there's the employees themselves, which in my experience have been the most miserable people on earth. The customers aren't much better either.
I'm sure people have the same feelings about Target and Walmart sometimes, but those stores aren't nearly as popular as Walmart. It's like the measure of whether you're town is really a town if it has a Walmart in it.
So i'm guessing this is why people hate Walmart, because like me, they do not step foot in that store unless its an absolute emergency and even then I might just get too frustrated and storm out, all the while cursing Walmart's name.

l have absolutely nothing against Wal*Mart. The one l shop at is a great store, friendly help and they have great prices

you are right. There is no difference eXCEPT that when they move into town, it usually means death for any other retailer.
