Actually I had a "friend" take something out of my purse (several years ago). I didn't see her but I know she did. It was something I know she wanted and wanted badly. We are both adults not teens. I did not confront her as I should have. I did say it was missing and I was worried about it. I simply stopped being friends with her. The only way I could have proven it was my opening her purse and looking. that may not have done it though; we were at work and we had lockers for personal belongings and she could have gone to her car and put it there. I know she would not have told the truth if I confronted her. I am still angry about it to this day.

Absolutely, because if you let it go, they will steal from you again. If you know for sure that this person stoled your money, I would confront them and break all ties from this person. Lying and stealing are not acceptable.

Of course I would confront that person. By the time I would be finished with the confrontation, he/she would never be able or willing to steal again.
