Congress. It is designed to be the most trustworthy.
The idea is that a group of people will discuss and vote on how to proceed with issues. That's democracy.
Presidents have gained power based on national-level crisis. They are now the tail that wags the dog. Bush is the best example of an executive with too much power.
The court cannot be trusted because of lifetime appointments that are political. It's a completely biased process.
Congress wins by default, even when divided. It has the best intentions.

Congress. I think compared to the six years prior to the recent election, it was a mess. It still isn't 'right" but its a lot better. Also, because it is bicameral, it is structured to be more trustworthy than appointed officials. Also, the people in Congress got there by vote of the people.
As for the Supreme Court, I believe they are so focused on voting along partisan lines that they have completely neglected their duties, those being to protect the Constitution.
As for the Executive branch, I have such a complete and utter distaste for Bush and his cronies that it would to me best to keep my mouth shut.

Right now, I trust the Supreme Court more than the other two, though the Executive Branch comes in as a close second.
Most of the recent Supreme Court decisions are very accurate, in my opinion, and I think they're doing a great job.
As far as the president, he is doing as well as can be expected, given the Congress' constant unrelenting opposition.
The Congress is so preoccupied with discrediting the president that they are not getting squat done...

Of the three alleged branches, I trust the legislature more than the judicial or executive.
That is not saying much however.
Now that we know that the justice dept. firings were over proof that the NRC's fraud in the last two presidential elections means neither bush nor cheney has ever been elected, it is time that President Pelosi started to restore the executive branch. Some well placed executions would help (legal under the bush edicts in/re "terrorism").

Branch? None. More of nothing is still nothing. I have no trust of any of these but since agencies are a part of the executive branch I have to say the executive for my reason that follows.
The US Forestry service hasn't done anything particularly shamefull lately so that is about the extent of the government I trust. Since they are part of the Department of Agriculture which is part of the executive branch then the executive branch holds the tiniest modicum of my trust.
Hmmm, Serious thought. Postal service? nope they have lost my mail far too many times to trust. Nope, cant think of another so thats still about it.

Congress, since 2006 elections, though they still need more seats to make any changes, so they haven't been able to make much progress. They're at the stage now of shining light on the darkness of the Cheney/Bush regime.
To my fellow libs, what did you expect, a coup d'etat?
I say it's just nice to see dialogue again and more than a one-party system now, and the hope of change in 2008. Govt. moves slowly, but that's democracy. Get involved if you care; it's not all up to our reps.

judicial would seem like the obvious answer, but um, the fed judges and gonzo rule them out....legislative, hell no! that leaves the executive.
yeap, it's gotta be executive by default. at least there is only one of 'em to keep an eye on
you have to to remember the judicial branch includes the entire fed court system. not just the supreme court

I trust the Supreme court the most, even though I a quite concerned with recent decisions. These men and women aren't elected and have the job for life, so what you see is what you get.

my vote is for the supreme court. their insulation from most of the partisan politics that control congress and the president makes me a bit more optimistic.
the way they are heading right now is not endearing, but it has potential to correct itself.
