The Clintons and Gores are not friends. Gore still blames his loss for the presidency on Bill's escapades. Edwards is the closest to Gore in ideology but he's not going anywhere. I'm going to say if Gore does not run in a third party, which I still think is a strong possibility, Gore will throw his support to whomever gives him the sweetest deal, as far as what his role would be in their administrations. I can see him in a new cabinet position designed specifically to tackle global warming issues.

This is precisely why election outcomes matter.

At this point polls are almost meaningless... the same goes for the Republican side when Newt and Fred are factored in... Wait until the primaries start shaking out the winners from the losers... to much depends on if these "non runners" ever actually enter the race. Which still may happen in Gore's case.

My dream is that Al Gore joins the race as a Green party candidate and wins the election.

Let's just hope the fools stay home on election day

Anyone dumb enough to vote in a poll for someone who isn't even running, doesn't belong anywhere near a voting booth
