The car has been stalling for some time now and now it won't start. all electrical and fuel parts are new. (distributor, battery, alternator, fuel filter, fuel pump, fuel pressure reg, etc). This has to be due to a bad sensor or ecu. The car starts with starter fluid. the injectors are receiving an electrical signal to tell them to spray. Will an o2 sensor prevent the car from stalling or is it another sensor (MAF, etc).

Year.
Make.
Model.

Those would have helped in troubleshooting your issue.

That being said. No. A bad O2 sensor would not keep your car from starting.

Year,make and model.Please.
An ECT (Engine coolant temperature sensor) is more than likely to give you those problems than an 02 sensor.
