Yeah, my Mum used to own a pet shop and I used to eat boneos. They are delicious. All my friends used to come in after school as well and my Mum used to give them a little bag of them!! I haven't eaten them for over twenty years now.

If I was starving and had no choice yes.

notes:

Dog food is plant or animal material intended for consumption by dogs or other canines. Special dog foods given as a reward, and not as a staple, are known as dog treats.

Some people make their own dog food or feed their dogs meals made from ingredients purchased in grocery or health-food stores; many others rely on commercially manufactured dog food.

There are many different recommendations on what diet is best for dogs. Some people argue that dogs have thrived off of leftovers and scraps from their human owners for thousands of years and that commercial dog foods (which have only been available for the past century) contain poor-quality meats, additives, and other ingredients dogs should not ingest, or that commercial dog food is not nutritionally sufficient for their dogs.

I haven't actually, I've eaten a dog choc drop- it is nowhere near as good as normal chocolate. I've also tried dried cat food when I was 4, it's gross!
Through previous experience I probably wouldn't though with my new dog around, never know, I might become curious, doubt it though, the contents of those biscuits is gross.

Can't believe i am going to admit this, but I have eaten dog biscuits, I used to eat them all the time when i was a kid.

They where for my nan's poodle and I used to sneak in the cupboard and steal them!

Is that bad, if i read all the other answers and I am the only one who has i will die!

When I was a child, I insisted that I get a dog biscuit each time our family pet was given one. I don't recall them tasting very good, but they didn't harm me.

As for now, well...I suppose if I ever got into a situation where I was hungry enough, a dog biscuit might look like filet mignon to me. Who knows???

Just after the war eating dog biscuits was not unusual in our family. Times were hard.! They were very bland and dry.

Yes, I have, when I was about 7, we were looking after a gorgeous Labrador and had bought her some biscuits, them big chunky ones you can get. I couldn't resist and had too sample one and have to admit I ate it all.

Never had one since though...lol

I can't frickin believe I just saw this question
About 10 years a go my friend and I were just sitting around, drinking Tequila and she dared me to eat a dog biscuit.
After reading the ingredients, I did! It tasted just like a ritz cracker. We still laugh about!

I once drunkenly said I'd eat a dog treat for £50. I only ate half so I didn't get the money!
